The IBIS-stopera hotel is located approximately one kilometer from the main train station ("Amsterdam centraal station"). You can take
  • a taxi from the station or
  • take tram 9 to Diemen and exit at the "Mr. Visserplein" and walk or
  • take the metro and axit at the second stop: "waterloopplein" and walk or
  • walk.

    Traveling by plane

    From the airport (Amsterdam Schiphol) you can
    • take the train to "Amsterdam centraal station". Trains depart every 10 minutes from platform 3; don't forget to buy a train-ticket before you enter the platform.
    • take a taxi directly to your hotel (costs aprox. EUR 50,-).

    Traveling by car

    Unless you know what you are doing, traveling by car is discouraged because of the bad parking facilities in the center of Amsterdam.
